The members of the Advisory Council:

1.  To regularly attend and actively participate in meetings

2. To assist with promotion of community awareness of the project and its impact on the community through speaking engagements,, personal affiliations, etc.

3.  To serve on at least one committee.

4.  To provide advice and support to the sponsor and program administrator in program changes, community relations and grant applications.

 5. To assist with the development of new volunteer sites and the recruitment of new volunteers.

 6.  To provide constructive relationships with key individuals and agencies in the community, making them aware of the program.

 7.  To assist in obtaining local financial support for the program.

 8.  To assist with recognition activities for volunteers.

 9.  To assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the program.
